●句型梳理

1.What does your friend look like?

“What does sb.look like?”用于询问某人的长相，意为“某人长什么样？”，回答要用“sb.be+形容词”“sb.be of+n.”或“sb.have/has+adj.+n.”等句型。例如：

—What does Cathy look like?卡西长什么样？

—She's tall,and she has black hair.她个子很高，一头黑发。

【拓展】“What's sb.like?”用于询问某人的性格、品质等，意为“某人是个什么样的人？”。例如：

—What's Ruth like?鲁思是个什么样的人呢？

—She's quiet and a little shy.她很文静，有点害羞。

2.Is he tall or short?

该句是选择疑问句。选择疑问句的构成：“一般疑问词+备选对象+or+另一个备选对象?”或“特殊疑问词+备选对象+or+另一个备选对象?”。例如：

Shall we go there by bus,bike or train?我们乘公共汽车、骑自行车还是坐火车去？

Would you like some tea or coffee?你要茶水还是咖啡？

Which would you like best，English,Chinese or Math?你最喜欢哪门学科，英语、语文还是数学？

【拓展】回答选择疑问句时，一般在所提供的备选对象范围内选择，有时也要视具体情况做灵活处理，但不能用“Yes/No”来回答，而要用一个完整的陈述句或其简略形式。

3.May I take your order?

这是饭店服务员请顾客点菜时的用语，意为“您要点菜了吗？/可以点菜了吗？/您要点什么？/要点菜（点餐）吗？”。如果是顾客问服务员，则应说“May I order， please?”。

“sb.can't wait to do sth.”是固定句型，意为“某人迫不及待做某事”。例如：
