Progress and Prospect of Oil and Gas Pipeline Integrity Management

In order to eliminate effectively pipeline operational risk and major accidents involving dangerous substance, improve safety management level, and reduce renovation and maintenance cost, China National Petroleum Corporation took the lead in initiating oil and gas pipeline integrity management. This paper expounded the progress of pipeline integrity management in oil and gas fields, which including a series of work such as screening high consequence areas and high-risk for pipeline,breakthrough technology, establishment of system management documents, and the implementation of pilot projects. All the strategies suggested carrying out to improve pipeline integrity management in the future.

Integrity Evaluation for Chaibeiyuan Gas Pipeline Based on PIAPlus

Integrity evaluation is one of key links in pipeline integrity management. It is an important means to control pipeline risks and implement restoration decisions.PIAPlus (Pipeline Integrity Evaluation Software) played a significant role in detecting metal loss defects and weld defects accurately of gas pipeline in Chaibeiyuan.According to the results of integrity evaluation based on PIAPlus and excavation verification, the targeted maintenance and repair, re-inspection plan for pipeline defects were suggested, an important basis for the safe and stable pipeline operation were provided.

Oilfield Surface Construction Planning in the New Situation

With the gradual deepening of development and construction, Daqing Oilfield has entered the late stage of high water cut development. The trend of production decline and water cut increase was obviously. The economic benefit of huge volume scale became worse. International oil price fluctuation market and decrease in oil production seriously affected investment situation and development benefit. In view of the situation and problems affecting and restricting oilfields development benefit and construction, oilfield surface engineering planning was put forward to face severe situations. The strategies of oilfield development, developing situation and production management were suggested for future oilfield surface construction.

Brief Analysis of Various Oil-well Casing Gas Recovery Technologies

Casing head gas produced alongside crude oil production. The amount of casing head gas accumulated in the annular space between the casing and tubing in an oil well may bring hidden problems to oil production operation. Casing head gas venting directly to the atmosphere caused environmental pollution. Casing head gas recovery can not only avoid the waste of resources but also reduce air pollution. The paper introduced types of casing head gas recovery package, such as cantilever type,automatic control type, jet type and removable type, and technical solutions of casing gas recovery were provided under various operation conditions.

Engineering Design Optimization of WSA Sulfuric Acid Unit

WSA (wet sulfuric acid) technology is to recovery sulfur from H2S and other sulfur compounds, and to turn them into concentrated sulfuric acid. WSA is widely used in oil refining, petrochemical and coal chemical industry. This article described the engineering optimizations for WSA unit detailed design regarding technological process, safety design, equipment and pipeline material selection. It has been proved that optimized WSA unit met the actual production requirements with recovered sulfur efficiently and environmental friendly.

A Brief Discussion on Petrochemical Testing Laboratory Design

Petrochemical testing and analysis play a vital role in the process of raw material inspection, intermediate production control analysis, product factory inspection, and new process research and development. To build standardized and fully functional testing laboratory, excepting appropriate equipment selection,laboratory design shall be considered with comprehensive layouts and reasonable arrangement of waterway, gas route, circuit, telecommunication, heating and ventilation. The perfect building design will make petrochemical testing laboratory a functionally, safely and conveniently.

Implementing Bill of Quantities Pricing and Deepening Marketization Reform of Engineering Cost Management to Petroleum Construction Project

Bill of quantities (BOQ) is a pricing mode applied worldwide. The pricing mode is also suitable for market economy and implemented actively in China. BOQ pricing being vigorously pursued is an important strategic to deepen marketization reform of engineering cost management comprehensively, and meets the inherent demands of lean management of petroleum construction projects in CNPC. The strategies will make engineering cost more accurately, valuation process more transparently, and cost control more effectively.

With the stability and reliability improvement of digitalization system,information technology is used to analyze and research characteristics of traditional oilfield productions. This article introduced intelligent process technology applied comprehensively to oilfield gathering and water injection system. The intelligent construction system consisted of automation equipment application, production process optimization, remote monitoring, regular inspection, emergency linkage system of production, and labor structure management, etc. The efficient, safe and modern oilfield management system with intelligent technology supporting enhanced oilfield development efficiently and sustainably.

Remote Monitoring System of Multipoint Temperature and Pressure Development and Application to Steam Injection Well

Multipoint temperature and pressure remote monitoring system can collect and remote monitor downhole temperature and pressure, and achieve digital data management to multiple steam injection wells. This paper expounded the remote monitoring system development and application. The system included data acquisition device and wireless remote monitoring unit. The downhole temperature and pressure were collected, transferred and displayed on remote monitoring unit.This system worked well in Liaohe oilfield.
