[摘要] 哈罗德·泽曼是20世纪当代艺术领域最重要的独立策展人，被誉为西方“策展之父”。他在长期的策展实践中，形成了兼顾信息传播和艺术鉴赏、开发利用展览空间的策展思路，并通过一系列展览策划传达他自由主义、理想主义、个人主义相互交织的艺术展览理念。他开阔的国际视野、勇于开拓的冒险精神、敏锐的历史意识、系统化的学科思维、独立于场馆之外的自由精神，值得当代策展人学习和借鉴。

[Abstract] Harald Szeemann， the 'Father of curatorial' in the West， was the most important independent curator in the field of contemporary art in the 20th century. In his long-term curatorial practice， he formed a curatorial approach that took into account information dissemination and artistic appreciation as well as the development and use of exhibition space. Through a series of exhibitions， he planned to convey the idea of an art exhibition in which he was intertwined with liberalism， idealism， and individualism. In this regard， contemporary curators should learn from his broad international perspective， the adventurous spirit of bold exploration， acute historical awareness， professional and systematic discipline thinking， independent prejudice and subjective rights arrangements.

一、关于哈罗德·泽曼

哈罗德·泽曼（瑞士，1933-2005）是观念艺术和后现代主义最杰出的倡导者之一，也是当代策展领域的奠基人（图1）。他开创了一种前所未有的展览模式——“建构的混乱”，其核心在于强调与艺术家的紧密合作以及广阔的当代文化国际视野。[1]泽曼在策展人中特立独行，他说：“我是行政管理者、敏感艺术的爱好者、序言的作者、档案管理员、保管员、会计师、动画师、博物馆管理员、财务专家、外交官，等等。” [2]他依靠自己独特的思维方式和创新性的行为将展览发展成为一种艺术语言，因而被尊称为“策展之父”。泽曼策划的展览涵盖了广泛的研究领域，他习惯于挑战艺术史传统的策展叙事方式，致力于探索视觉艺术之外的创意领域，为现代艺术展览开辟了新的方向。
