Abstract According to investigation， the development sistution of rice direct seeding cultivation in Shandong Province was analyzed， and the main existing problems were summerized as the shortage of suitable varieties for direct seeding， more weather risks and weaker resistance to disasters， rough filed management and no matched cultivation technologies， blind cultivation of farmer and insufficient policy support. And some countermeasures were put forward as strenthening the variety breeding for direct seeding， research on matching cultivation technologies， technology extension service and policy guidance， and achieving the matched machines and technologies for direct seeding of rice in Shandong Province.
