摘要:本次授课内容为外研社《英语》(新标准)小学三年级起点第5册第7模块第1单元(He cant see)第1课时。

关键词:英语;教学;设计

一、 教材分析

在五年级上学期这一阶段,教学内容主要是复习巩固以前学过的内容和继续扩展学习新的内容。第七模块第一单元是以Dogs为主线,讲述了狗在日常生活中是非常有用的,让学生能从残疾人励志成功的例子上感受到天助自助者,感恩自己是正常人进而努力奋斗并且提高和动物们和谐共处的意识,以及如何用can和cant表达能做和不能做的事情。

二、 教学目标

1. 使学生能正确认读单词:blind, deaf, hear, useful, her, firefighters。

2. 能听懂,读、会说句型:She/He cant...,能正确运用can和cant表达能做和不能做的事情,达到综合运用语言的能力。

3. 通过课文学习,让学生进一步使用He cant..., but he can...并灵活运用,培养学生在生活中的责任感,爱护动物,关爱残疾人,助人为乐的良好品质。

三、 教学重点

1. 正确认读单词:blind, deaf, hear, useful, her, firefighters。

2. 掌握句型:He is blind. He cant see. She is deaf. She cant hear. Can we have a dog? No, we cant.

四、 教學难点

1. 在真实的情境中正确运用can和cant表达自己和他人能做和不能做的事情。

2. 宾格him, her的使用,并结合本课内容进行活学活用。

3. 以课文为载体,帮助学生养成珍爱生命、健康生活、助人为乐等核心素养。

五、 教学准备

PPT、卡纸、图片、小组活动所用材料等。

六、 教学设计

Step 1: Warmingup and leadin

1. Greetings.

2. Enjoy a song “Yes, I can”.(复习旧知,引出问题)

T: The birds can . The fish can . Boys and girls can .(学生根据所听歌曲做出相应回答。)

3. Brainstorming.

T: I can sing and dance, too. What can you do? Ss: I can...(引导学生边说边做)

T: Wonderful! You can do a lot. What about dogs?(过渡到主题)

4. T: Enjoy some pictures about dogs.(引出chant里的句子)

Teach and read the sentences: Dogs are useful. They can do/help a lot.(单词卡片呈现并教授a lot/useful)

5. Listen and chant together.

【设计意图】为课文学习搭桥,降低难度。让学生在看、听和说chant的过程中对文本中关于狗帮助人类的行为有一个初步的感知。

Step 2: Presentation

1. T: Dogs are very useful. Today we are going to learn something about dogs of Module 7 Unit 1 He cant see.(写课题和dogs于黑板上)

2. T: Look! Lingling, Sam and Amy are watching a TV show.(用图片introduce TV, TV presenter, TV show)

T: Watch the TV show and fill in the blanks.

1)Theres a TV show about .

2)The presenter says,“Dogs are very .”

【设计意图】学习课文之前呈现本课的任务,让学生在任务的驱动下学习新知,最后运用所学新知完成任务,以达到学以致用的目的。

3. Listen, point and say.

1)T: Why are dogs useful? Listen to the text, try to underline the answers with your pen.

2)T: Listen for the second time, try to discuss your answers with your partner.

【设计意图】由TV presenter所说的话中的useful为线索,提出本文的核心问题:Why are dogs useful?通过问题为学生搭建语言学习的支架,锻炼学生提取有效信息的能力。

4. Text learning.

1)教师指导学生看第一幅图片和文本内容。

T: Look at picture 1. Why is the dog useful?

S1: This man is blind. He cant see. This dog helps him.

用blind单词卡片教读并用原音跟读,并学习从而进一步理解其含义。Let students try to read: kind, find, blind,正确掌握音标发音。

T: Well done!教师教读,并问Who can say this picture?

Ss: This man is blind. He cant see.

This dog helps him.(板书于黑板上引导学生齐读、小组读、点几名学生读。)

【设计意图】教师呈现新授单词和句型之后,帮助学生理解cant可以描述能力的不足,从整体到局部、从全体到个体,关注每位学生的学习差异。

2)教师指导学生看第二幅图片和文本内容。

T: Look at picture 2. Why is the dog useful?

Ss: This girl is deaf. She cant hear.

This dog helps her.

T: Look at me,(轻声拍掌)Can you hear? Ss: NO.

T: T(稍大声拍掌)Can you hear? Ss: Yes.

T: (大声拍掌)Can you hear? Ss: Yes.

T: Just now, you use your ears to hear, but this girl cant hear.用单词卡片和原音教读hear, deaf,并教写hear,拼读单词:hear, near, pear, bear.

T帶读This girl is deaf. She cant hear. This dog helps her.

T: Who can say this picture?

Ss: This girl is deaf. She cant hear. This dog helps her.

教师板书并点其他学生说这一图片This girl is deaf. She cant hear. This dog helps her.

3)Look and say.

1. This boy is . He . This man .(PPT呈现一位男士帮助一位盲童读书。)

2. This girl is . He . This doctor .(PPT呈现一位医生在帮失聪女孩测试听力。)

【设计意图】让学生运用所学的知识训练句型,做到学以致用,提高语用能力。

4)教师指导学生看第三幅图片和文本内容。

T: The dogs helped the blind man, the deaf girl. The dogs are useful.

T: How about this dog? Why is it useful?

Ss: Last week, there was a fire. This dog helped the firefighters.

T拿卡片教读fire, firefighters,并拿卡片背面的图片教授学生说出Last week, there was a fire. This dog helped the firefighters.

教师手拿图片问几组学生,引导学生说出Last week, there was a fire. This dog helped the firefighters.

教师总结The dogs helped the blind man, the deaf girl and the firefighters. They are useful.

5)T: Do you want to have a dog? Ss: Yes, we do.

T: Can we have a dog? Ss: Yes, we can.

T: How about Sam? Try to find what Sam ask and what Ms Smart answer on your books.

T介绍hotdogs的构成并教读hotdogs. They are sausages and bread.

【设计意图】课堂中注重对学生的思维品质和文化品格的培养。

Step 3: Listening and reading

1. Listen and repeat the text.

2. Read the text by yourself.

3. Read the text together.

4. RolePlay.(1. Role play in groups.

2. Choose your favourite role to act.)

4. Try to retell the text.

【设计意图】整合课本内容,把本课的基本句型放回到故事中,让学生在真实的语境中运用所学的语言知识进行表达,提高学生的语言表达和运用能力。

Step 4: Consolidation

1. T: Im a TV presenter. Make your own TV show.教师介绍海伦·凯勒作为例子。

2. 小组合作:全班学生分成小组共同讨论完成另外三个电视节目的报道,争当最优秀的电视主持人。

3. 小组进行汇报,选出优秀主持人。

T: God helps those who help themselves! Be thankful for what we have today!

【设计意图】通过小组合作让学生设计自己的电视节目以及进行汇报表演,让学生在真实、自然的任务型活动中拓展运用信息,在英文版歌曲《感恩的心》的旋律中让学生感受到要向这些人学习,培养他们感恩、自信、自强、奋斗等品格。

Step 5: Summary

1. T: What have we learnt today? Ss: ...

2. Enjoy the pictures about animals. T: Animals bring a lot of fun to our life. So we should help each other! Let the world be filled with love!

Step 6: Homework

1. Read the text.

2. Do a simple thing to help others and enjoy your self.
