【摘要】随着全球化发展，英语作为国际通用语言，英语教学一直受到了人们的广泛关注，对高校英语教学给予了更高的要求。同时，在当前现代高科技不断优化升级，电子计算机技术逐渐应用于人们生活的各个领域时，也为教育结构的调整和教学资源的合理利用提供了便利，最终慕课这一教学成果出现在人们视野当中。慕课时代的来临，促使传统的英语教学思想与手段远远满足不了实际需求。为此，高校英语教学有必要在慕课时代加以创新，才能谋求更好的发展，满足全球化发展的需求。本文在阐述了慕课时代高校英语教学应对的挑战基础上，进一步探讨了慕课时代高校英语教学改革面临的机遇。
