On the glass art and glass industry development in the context of consumer society

玻璃从人类文明诞生之日起就与社会发展有着不可分割的联系，成为人类生活不可或缺的材料之一。随着科学技术与工艺技术的进步，玻璃艺术和玻璃产业更是发生着日新月异的变化。本文将对国内外玻璃艺术与玻璃产业发展的现状进行讨论，并尝试探索当今消费社会语境下玻璃艺术和玻璃产业的未来发展趋势。

1 亚琛大教堂

Glass from the date of the birth of human civilization has an indelible link with the social development, and it is one of the indispensable materials of human life. Along with the progress of science and technology , glass art and glass industry is changing with each passing day. In this paper, the author will discuss the current situation of the development of glass art and glass industry at home and abroad, and try to explore the future development trends of glass art and glass industry in the context of consumer society.

一 绪论

许多人误以为玻璃是一种年轻的材料，其实不然。玻璃作为一种人工材料已有逾越千年的历史。早在古罗马时代，人们已经开始用玻璃来铺砌地板、壁炉等，只是当时玻璃是不透明的。相对而言在古代中国,玻璃出现较晚,大约在公元前5世纪前后,而且当时玻璃因为数量稀少成型困难，基本只服务于少数达官贵族。追溯玻璃的历史，我们可以发现使用最多的是教堂建筑,其中最具代表性的就是建于19世纪哥特式风格的亚琛大教堂（图1），可见当时玻璃艺术与建筑就有了精美融合的先例。

二 玻璃艺术与玻璃产业业态的发展现状

纵观国外的玻璃艺术，西方文艺复兴之后,兴起了各种艺术流派,国外的玻璃技术水平也有了很大的提高,艺术家们也有着更多元的表现空间。产业革命时期，法国的DAUM、LALIQUE等玻璃艺术品牌就已经开始建立并开创了玻璃文化推广的成功模式。20世纪60年代，美国发起的“玻璃工作室运动”更是让玻璃艺术迎来了最具意义的革命时期。……
