This color keeps its tongue from getting sunburned （晒伤）！Giraffes spend a lot of time sticking out （伸出） their long tongues to eat grass and leaves， so it gets a lot of sun.

Sloths （树懒） are really lazy！ They sleep up to 20 hours a day. When they are awake， they dont like to move. They are so lazy.Algae （藻类） grows on their fur （毛）. They smell bad.

Strong teeth 海狸强韧的大板牙

Beavers （海狸） have very strong teeth. They bite （咬） on trees for food. They can chop down （砍断） a tree with their teeth. Why are their teeth so strong？ Their teeth have iron （铁） in them. That makes their teeth stronger than ours.

Pythons （蟒蛇） are large snakes. Theyre fierce（凶猛的）when they catch and eat their food. They can swallow （吞） animals. The animals can be up to five times （倍） as wide as their head！ Larger pythons look for larger food like pigs or goats.
