As a famous landscape painter of China， Lv Dajiang received a good education on Chinese traditional paintings at an early age， laying a solid foundation for his artistic creation in the following years. Also， he has ever been to many famous mountains and rivers to draw the scenery， which provides powerful impetus for his excellent achievements.

吕大江毕业于天津美院中国画系，接受过系统的传统基本功训练，又长期受家父传统积墨法的熏染，练就了较好的功底，但又不囿于一家窠臼。他遵前贤之“笔墨精神千古不变，章法面目时刻翻新”的名训，努力走向生活，“师造化”。他曾多次写生太行、西北，将北方山水的苍茫、浑厚纳于笔端，生发出传统笔墨的纯厚生机。

中国山水画自形成宋元两大高峰以来，一直以南北画派与疏密二体而发展。历来有“宋人繁密，元人简淡”之说，吕大江的画属“密体”一格。他画用笔披麻，千笔万笔层层溃染，倚让错落，层积而厚。宾翁日：“画无论繁简，全在意周气密。”吕大江用繁笔密皴的积墨法描绘出坚凝的石体、丰茂的杂木，颇得山川之骨，又得山川之气，逐步形成苍茫、朴实、沉厚的风格倾向。

画重师法造化，更应“师心”，重胸中丘壑，略自然形貌，努力于自然丘壑中寄寓个人的“心性”。“开拓自我之胸襟”是吕大江今后应该努力的方向。

Born in She County， Hebei Province， Lv Dajiang graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts with the major of Chinese traditional painting in 1990. Now he is a member of China Artists Association， Executive Vicepresident of Capital Museum Academy of Paintings， supervisor of Lv Dajiang Landscape Paintings Workshop in Renmin University of China， and Deputy Secretary-General of Landscape Committee of Tianjin Artists Association etc. He has participated in various exhibitions and won grand prizes. Many of his artworks have been collected by famous museums， organizations and individuals， and published in various national journals.

呂大江，生于河北省涉县，1990年毕业天津美术学院中国画系。1990至1995年在天津水晶宫饭店任画廊经理兼画师，1995至1998年赴新加坡工作，“高峰画廊”总代理兼签约画师。2004年毕业于天津美术学院研究生班。曾先后师从著名画家孙其峰、王学仲、孙克刚、何家英、霍春阳、白庚延、曹德兆等先生，并长期随家父吕云所先生学习传统积墨法并努力开拓自己的独立绘画面貌。
