这幢佃户大楼位于居民区，面朝狭窄的街道，而这片居民区距离高楼林立的青山大街仅一个街区之遥。在这两种尺度之间，建筑师有意不让这座建筑归属于其中任何一种，而是选择了另一种方式。

大楼的外立面向天空弯曲，就像肚子被卡住了却仍在前进。人们如果仅从街上向上仰视的话，无法看出它究竟有几层。因为每一层的两排狭长窗户让人无法看出它的层数。阳光在弯曲的外墙上反射、渐变，透过窗户映照进室内。基于这种“抽象”概念，建筑师按照人与建筑之间邂逅的新思路进行了设计。

We design a new way of the encounter between architecture and people.
