摘 要 动物学基础是我校动物科学、动物医学及水产养殖等相关专业非常重要的专业基础课。为适应社会发展，需要对教学制度进行改革。本文通过分析当前动物学基础理论课教学的现状，根据动物学基础课程的特点，结合现有的教学经验，从教学内容、方法和手段及考核方式进行改革探索，以求激发学生的学习兴趣，提高教学质量。

Abstract Animal Science Foundation is our school of animal science， animal medicine and aquaculture and other related major professional basic course is very important. In order to adapt to the social development， the reform of the teaching system is needed. In this paper， through the analysis of the status of the current animal science basic theory teaching， according to the characteristics of animal science foundation courses， combined with the existing teaching experience， explores the teaching contents， methods and means and ways of assessment reform， in order to stimulate students' interest in learning， improve the quality of teaching.

动物学基础是我校比较重要的专业基础课，其中相关专业有动物科学、动物医学及水产养殖。近年来为了适应社会的发展，高等学校都在不断进行改革，增加课程，必然导致一些课程被删减、压缩，改革显得尤为重要，一些传统的主干课程受到了较大冲击。在2013年以前，我院动物科学专业和水产养殖专业的这门基础课一直由我校动医学院基础课部老师授课，由于专业的侧重点不同，加上动物学这门课程内容量庞大、知识体系繁杂，且重理论教学，轻实际操作，难以取得良好的教学成就。为了改善这种状况，经我院教授委员会反复论证，将“动物学”更名为“动物学基础”，并根据生源情况对动物科学和水产养殖专业的学生分开进行授课。为了让学生正确认识动物学基础的重要性，提高学习兴趣，笔者分析了当前动物学教学的现状，结合两年多的教学经验，从教学内容、教学方法和手段及考核方式进行改革探索。……
