二、规律小结

我们知道，英语里的构词法主要有三种：转化、派生和合成。

仔细观察以上例句，我们不难发现，高考语法填空对于构词法的考查几乎年年出现，而考点主要集中在派生词并且是派生词的后缀上。主要有以下规律：

1. 形容词加后缀-ly转换成副词。如，第1，3，5，7，8，

10，13，14，15，18。此外，笔者认为11题的surprisingly 也可以归入形容词+-ly变成副词这一类。

2. 形容词转换成名词。如第2题。

3. 动词转换成名词。如第16题。

4. 名词转换成形容词。如第4，6，9，12，17题。

5. 动词转换成分词形容词。如第19，20，21，22题。

上述5种情况可归结为3种：转换成副词、转换成名词、转换成形容词，转换的原因是：

1. 修饰动词、形容词或放在句首修饰全句作状语，用副词。

2. 作主语、宾语或者在形容词性物主代词后要用名词。

3. 作表语、定语、补语要用形容词。
