近日，在上海与荷兰鹿特丹建立友城关系34周年之际，两市签署了新一轮友好合作交流备忘录。

上海与鹿特丹的友好关系源远流长，持续34年的友城交往缔造了国际城际合作交流的一段佳话。上海在城市发展建设过程中，尤其在港口航运、基础设施建设等方面，得到了鹿特丹市的大力支持和帮助。随着此次两市新一轮合作交流备忘录的签署，双方将在养老、医疗、文化、警务、科技等领域拓展更多合作，携手应对城市发展遇到的新的难题和挑战。

鹿特丹市市长艾哈迈德·阿布塔莱伯表示，鹿特丹与上海友好交往频繁，合作富有成效，愿为推动两市进一步友好合作交流做出新贡献。当前，鹿特丹与上海都面临气候变化、可持续发展等共同挑战，希望双方进一步加强交流，相互学习借鉴，共同破解难题，实现更好发展。

Shanghai: Signed A New Memorandum of Friendly Exchanges with Rotterdam

Recently, Shanghai signed a new memorandum of friendly exchanges and cooperation with the city in Netherlands Rotterdam when the 34 years of establishing relations between two cities.

There has been a long history of friendly relations between Shanghai and Rotterdam, the lasting 34 years international cooperation made a good story of friendly cities exchange. Shanghai received strong support and help from Rotterdam during the construction of urban development process, especially in areas like port,maritime, infrastructure construction.there will be a new round of cooperation and exchanges in the field of police, pension, health care, culture, and technology as the two cities signed the memorandum, working together to respond to new challenges and the challenges of urban development.
