8月16日，重庆市政府外事侨务办与香港特区政府驻成都经贸办、驻重庆联络处赴渝中区开展联合调研。市政府外事侨务办副主任刘光术与香港特区政府驻成都经贸办主任刘锦泉商议明年在我市举办香港摇滚音乐会事宜。渝中区副区长刘彤一行向工作组介绍了渝中区从地产开发向高端服务业转型与近年来的经济发展情况，并欢迎更多港商到渝中投资共谋发展。随后，刘彤陪同工作组一起考察了香港特区政府驻重庆联络处位于该区的英利大厦新址。

On August 16, Chongqing Foreign and overseas Chinese Affairs Office started joint research with ETO in Chengdu of The HKSAR Government and office in Chongqing. Liu Guangshu, Deputy Director of Chongqing Foreign and overseas Chinese Affairs Office and Liu Jinquan, the Director of the Economic and Trade Office of HKSAR Government in Chengdu discussed about holding rock concert in Chengdu next year. Liu Tong,Deputy Head of Yuzhong District informed the transition from real estate development to high-end services and economic development in recent years, and welcomed more Hong Kong businessmen to invest in Yuzhong District and seek common development.
