Elle Fanning （aged 15）

艾丽·范宁（15岁）

I chose Elle over her older sister Dakota for two simple reasons. One， Dakota is 19 now， so I dont think she qualifies[具有资格] for this list anymore. But more importantly， I feel that Elle has picked more interesting and challenging projects in her short career.

The first time I noticed her was when she guest starred on Criminal Minds， and she was really good. Since then， Ive been nothing but impressed by the choices shes made. She shined in a small but critical[关键性的] role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button， and was equally impressive in her leading role in Super 8. I wish her and her big sister all the best in their adult careers.

I give a lot of credit[荣誉，赞扬] to any kid who is asked to carry a film. Its one thing to be a child actor milling around[漫无目的地乱转] in one of the secondary[次要的] roles， but its quite another to be front and center[（用作口令）出列] as the films lead[主角]. Asa Butterfield has turned in[作出，取得] several complex[复杂的] performances over the past few years （Hugo， The Boy in the Striped Pajamas）， and he will play Ender in this years anxiously awaited Enders Game. I can see him finding continued acting success into adulthood. And come on， this kid is adorable[可爱的].

Kiernan Shipka （aged 14）

Last year， Mad Men managed to score[获得] six acting Emmy nominations[提名]. Kiernan Shipka is the 13 year old who steals the scenes from her fellow adult actors.

On the show， she plays Sally Draper， Dons daughter， and she does a hell of a job. Shes been on the show since she was eight years old， and its been such a joy to see her grow up on the screen. Shipka comes off[表现（好、坏）] as startlingly[令人吃惊地] mature[成熟的] for her age， yet still such an innocent[天真无邪的] as she struggles to come to terms[屈服，妥协] with her changing world. I cant wait to see what she does when Mad Men is over.

去年，《广告狂人》成功拿到六项艾美奖表演类提名。13岁的琪兰·席普卡就是抢了大人演员们风头的那个人。

Zachary Gordon （aged 18）

Zachary Gordon？ What has he done to make it on here？ The Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies and a couple episodes[集] of How I Met Your Mother？ Well， yeah. But to be completely fair， he owns those Wimpy Kid movies. And Im impressed by his comedic[喜剧的] skills. I feel like as he ages， he will be able to transition[转变] into teen films and then eventually[最后] adult roles， rather than just getting left behind like a lot of famous kids. He just seems like a charming[迷人的] guy with a good sense of humor， and hopefully that will take him a long way.

扎克瑞·戈登？他做了什么让他上榜？就凭《小屁孩日记》系列电影和几集《老爸老妈的浪漫史》吗？是的。但公平一点来说，《小屁孩》电影专属于他，而且他的喜剧技巧让我印象深刻。我感觉到，随着他长大，他有能力过渡到去演青少年电影，并最终胜任成年人的角色，而不是像很多出名的童星那样昙花一现。他就是这么一个富有幽默感的迷人小伙子，希望这点能让他一直走下去。

Chlo？ Grace Moretz （aged 16）

For me， this girl has turned in one of the best performances by a child in all of cinema. Her work in True Grit is what I would consider the benchmark[基准] against which you judge all other child actors. Am I exaggerating[夸大] a little bit？ Possibly， but I dont think so. Whats so impressive is how much she transformed[转换] herself to embody[具体化] the role of a headstrong[顽固的] girl bent on[下决心] revenge[复仇]. If you ever watch interviews with her， she could not be further from this character.

在我看来，这个女孩献出了电影史上一次最杰出的儿童表演。我认为她在《大地惊雷》的表演给其他童星定下了标杆。我是不是有点夸大？也许吧，但我不认为夸大了。最叫人难忘的是，她做出了巨大的努力，化身为一个固执己见、一心要复仇的角色。如果你看过她的采访，就会发现她本人和这个角色有着天渊之别。
