Stu rm-Liouv ille问题的特征值对势函数的依赖性

研究了定义在[0,1]上的Sturm-Liouville问题的特征值对势函数的连续依赖性.应用比较定理和定义区间单调性证明了:当部分区间[x0,1]上的势函数趋于无穷大时,[0,1]区间上的特征值渐进趋近于[0,x0]区间上的某个特征值.推广了一些作者对Sturm-Liouville问题研究的相应结果,并为其相应问题的研究提供了一个新的视角.

1 引言

本文的动机由文献[1-3]的工作所驱动.他们考虑了Sturm-Liouville(SL)问题的特征值依赖边界,边值条件以及势函数的变化问题.所以SL问题是由微分方程:

另外,他们还研究了当势函数q,边界条件和一个端点都固定时,SL问题的特征值和特征函数对另一个端点的依赖性.即当区间长度向零收缩时,最小的Dirichlet特征值趋于无穷大,但这一结论对于最小的Neum ann特征值并不成立,因为他是一个有限极限.其后对SL问题的研究涌现出大量推广性结论[4-7].

本文考虑上述问题(1)-(2)的特征值关于部分区间[x01]上的势函数变化问题,证明了与其平行性的结论:当[x01]区间上的势函数趋于正无穷或负无穷大时,问题(1)-(2)的[0,1]区间上的特征值渐进趋于[0,x0]上的某个特征值;并进一步证明了上述问题(1)-(2)的[0,1]区间上的第m个特征值渐进趋近于[0,x0]上的第m个特征值.

This paper studiesmain ly the eigenvalues of Sturm-Liouville(SL)p roblem s def nded in[0,1]dependent continously on the potential function.By the com parison theorem and domainmonotonicity,it proves that when the potential function in the interval[x0,1]tends to in fnity,the eigenvalues in the interval[0,1]asym ptotically app roach the eigenvalues in the interval[0,x0].It promotes the corresponding results of Sturm-Liouville problems which some authors studies, and provides a new angle of view.
