摘要：道塞山河旧，路通天地新。交通既是社会经济发展的重要推力，又是城市形成与发展的重要动力。本文回顾昆明交通发展和城市结构形态演变历程后，得出昆明城市内部结构调整和城市外部空间形态拓展均受交通发展程度的影响，特别是交通模式、路网结构等因素对昆明结构形态演变影响较大。

Abstract: the way plug sunvo company is old, leads a new heaven and earth. Traffic is both social economic development of important thrust and city formation and development the important power. This paper reviewed the development and city traffic kunming structure shape after the evolution course, draw the kunming city internal structure adjustment and urban external space form all traffic development by expanding the degree of influence, especially the traffic pattern, the network structure of kunming structure form factors such as large effect on evolution.

1.交通与城市发展

在城市发展初期，城市交通为整个城市注入原始动力，在城市交通的基础之上，城市的各个功能才得以慢慢地体现，带来城市的繁荣和昌盛，城市才逐步发展起来。

当交通工具发生革新时，市民外出的可达性大大提升，活动范围也相应扩大，伴随而来的即是城市用地规模扩大。当城市某一地理方位的交通设施条件水平好于其他区域时，该区域的发展往往会快于其他区域，形成“指状”拓展区域；随着社会经济的发展，“指状”间地理空间不断被填充，整个过程表现为城市空间结构形态的同心圆拓展。城市交通的发展很大程度上决定着城市健康发展的科学性和合理性。从该角度来说，可视交通发展史为城市的发展史。

2.昆明交通发展与城市形态互动历程

本文以1905年昆明开商埠、和平解放和90年代为时间分割点，将昆明交通发展史分为四个阶段，第一阶段（1905年以前）为古代交通；第二阶段（1905年-1950年）为近代交通发展阶段；第三阶段（1950-1990年）为近现代交通发展阶段；……
