be from与come from意思相同，都可以理解为 “从（某地）来，是（某地方）人”,既可以表示某人来自于某个地方或某个单位，也可以表示来自某个国家。注意应用介词from，而不是其他的词。例如：

Im from Shanghai. 我来自上海。

He is from a rich family. 他出生于一个富裕家庭。

They come from Australia. 他们来自澳大利亚。/他们是澳大利亚人。

Where do you come from? 你们从哪里来？
