“对画线部分提问”是同学们在平时练习中经常见到的一种“句型转换”题型，但很多同学在做这种练习时不得要领，以致经常出错。究其原因是没有掌握解这种题的技巧。其实，只要我们真正弄懂“找”、“改”、“接”、“去”这四个解题步骤，就能够轻松应对这种题型。下面就针对这四个字谈谈如何对“画线部分”提问。

找：在做对“画线部分“提问的题目时，我们首先应根据画线部分的意义找出相应的特殊疑问词，故称之为“找”。至于如何根据“画线部分”找特殊疑问词，可以参考下表。

改：就是将原来的陈述句“改”为一般疑问句。

接：就是将改好的一般疑问句“接”在已经找好的特殊疑问词后面。

去：就是“去”掉原句中的画线部分。

下面我们结合实例来看看如何根据“找”、“改”、“接”和“去”这四个步骤来对“画线部分”进行提问。

He goes to school at nine oclock.

第一步：“找”。阅读全句，我们可以看出，画线部分表示时间，所以应选用what time（只用来对钟点进行提问）或者when作疑问词。

第二步：“改”。把上面的陈述句改为一般疑问句： He goes to school at nine oclock. → Does he go to school at nine oclock？

第三步：“接”。把改好的一般疑问句“Does he go to school at nine oclock？”接在疑问词what time之后就成了“What time does he go to school at nine oclock？”。

第四步：“去”。将画线部分at nine oclock去掉，就得到最后所需要的特殊疑问句，即“What time does he go to school？”。

“找”、“改”、“接”、“去”是应对常规的 “对画线部分提问”练习题的方法。但如果画线部分是主语或者修饰主语的定语时，则直接用选好的特殊疑问词代替画线部分即可，其他成分基本不变。例如：

He works hard every day. （对画线部分提问）

→ Who works hard every day？ （直接用疑问词Who代替画线部分He， 即可得到我们所需要的特殊疑问句。）

The girl in the car is his sister. （对画线部分提问）

→ Which girl is his sister？ （对主语的修饰语in the car提问时，需用which代替画线部分，再将句子作适当的调整，即可得到我们所需要的特殊疑问句。）

另外，还需注意的是，在对动词及其宾语提问时，应该用“what + do的适当形式”代替画线部分。所谓“适当形式”，就是指与原句中画线动词相一致的语法形式。例如：

He is watching TV now. （对画线部分提问）

→ What is he doing now？（原句中的画线部分“is watching TV”意为“正在看电视”，故对其提问，将原句变为特殊疑问句时，应用“What ... is doing”代替原句中的“is watching TV”。）

I want to take a photo of Zhou Xun at the party. （对画线部分提问）

→ What do you want to do at the party？ （原句中的画线部分to take a photo of Zhou Xun作want的宾语，故对其提问时，应该用what作疑问词，用to do代替to take a photo of Zhou Xun。）
