Building a strong sense of the Chinese nation community is themain line of China’s ethnic work.It is rooted in the long history of the breeding and developmentofChina’sunifiedmulti-ethnic country.From the perspective ofbuilding a strong sense of the Chinese national community,this paper combs themigration and formation process of the Chinese Mongolian Tuva people,and compares the nationalborder delimitation and border governance to see the sense of the Chinese national community reflected by the border ethnic groups such as the Chinese Mongolian Tuva people in the process of garrisoning or stationing in the nationalborderland,thus launching a discussion on the contribution and role of the border ethnic groups to the country.It is believed that the formation of border ethnic groups is the concrete embodiment of their strong sense of the community of the Chinesenation.

The Family Lineage of the Yuan Dynasty in the first chapter of the first volume of Nancun Chuogenglu records the lineage information of the Yuan Dynasty.Among them,there aremany differences between the partof Genghis Khan’s ancestral lineage and those recorded in other historicalmaterials.By comparing the records of the Yuan Dynasty clan lineage in the Secret History of the Yuan Dynasty,Yuan History,Hu-lan Deb-ther,Jāmi’al-Tawārīkh and other documents,this paper studies the lineage before Balidan in the table The Family Lineage of the Yuan Dynasty,in order to provide a reference for the research on the ancestral lineage ofGenghis Khan.

Henan,the firstbend of the Yellow River in Qinghai,is a nomadic land with abundantwater and grass.Since ancient times,with the change ofdynasties and populationmigration,twomajor ethnic groups,namely,Mongolsand Tibetans,mixed with Hui,Han,Salar,Uyghurand other ethnic groups,ithas formed amultiethnic habitat in the Qing Dynasty.After a long period of historical accumulation,various ethnic groups have formed a harmoniousethnic relationship.Among them,the changesofMongo-Tibetan relationshave very important impacts on the local society.The local relations between Mongols and Tibetans are somewhat different from those in the north of the Yellow River in Qinghai,especially after the suppression of the Lobsandanjin rebellion.Based on the reasons for the establishment of Mongo-Tibetan relationship in Qinghai and Henan,and the performance of its further evolution after its establishment,this paper shows the historical prosperity of exchanges between various ethnic groups,and provides some historical reference for building a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation.

Clothing language is a description or interpretation of clothing culture and a way to express people’s deep passion of clothing.The traditional clothing of the TurghutMongols,with its distinctive characteristics and colorful freehand brushwork patterns,conveys a rich clothing language.However,as amember ofmany national costumes,people paymore attention to its style,texture and characteristicswhile little attention to the ethnical clothing language expressed by these patterns,designs,styles,colors,accessories,etc.behind its beauty and functions.Atpresent,the research on the traditionaldress language of TurghutMongols is still in need,and there is basically no relevant discussion or research text.Based on the investigation records of many years in the settlementof TurghutMongols,and combined with the interview and investigationwith traditional folk craftsmen,this papermakes some preliminary discussions on the language of Turghutdress from the perspective of comparativeanalysisof traditionaldress,with theexpectation to provide somebasicmaterials forabetter interpretation of the Turghut traditionalclothing culture.

Folk tales are a form ofartistic expression widely used by themasses.In the course of long history,every people have created a deal of folk tales to reflect their own labor and social life,express their own thoughts and feelings.Mongolian people have the folk tale“Dalan Khudalchi”while Kazaks have“Orphan Eighty lies and Forty Lying Songs”,both are witty tales respectively featuring typical characters.We here draw on the theory andmethod of comparative storytelling to contrastbetween the two tales,focusing on content,plot,character,artistic techniquesand nationalaesthetic consciousness.

SubeiMongolian folk song“Altai Khangai”is a variant of the song Genghis Khan’s Two Horse.This song is notonly popular in SubeiMongolian Autonomous County,Gansu Province,butalso in Ordos,Alsha,Urat and other league or banners in Inner Mongolia,DelekheiCity,Haixi Prefecture,Qinghai Province,Sunan County,Gansu Province,Barkul,Xinjiang,Western Mongolia and other regions,some of them titled differentnames such as“AltaiKhangaiÖndör”,“Two Horsesof the Lord”,“Two Sharga of the Lord”and"Jeergentiin Shili”.The title of this article is named according to the name of“Altai Khangai”seen inmost regions.Only when giving specific examples of different regions,it will still be used according to the local names.This papermainly investigates the rhetorical features of image shaping,relevance,refrain and so on from the perspective of poetics,in order to clarify the cultural implication of the continuous spread and dissemination of this folk song.

This paperaims to explore the origin and historical issuesof the two Mongolian folk songs“SilverWhite Ore”and“Alaichinbuu”,and compare them with the“Birch Bark Letter of Golden Horde”as well as the Chinese saga Mulan.Themeaning of gifts described in the lyrics shows the parents’selfless love for their children and their noble character.There aremany variations of the two songs inmany regions.With the development of society and the improvement of people’s lives,songs with military themes have gradually evolved into folk songswithmarriage themesand have been handed down to this day.Naturally,themeaning of the gifts described in the song has changed from praying for the safety and health of the children and full expectation of reunion in the future towishing themarried girl a happy lifewith plenty of food and clothing.This paper focuses on the comparative study of the variants seen in Alsha,Ordos,Qinghai,Subeiand other regions,and expoundsourown viewson the song’ssymbolism and features.
