重庆长嘉汇弹子石老街是一个江畔历史更新项目，旨于连接古今、融合中西，提供丰富文化商业体验的零售综合体。项目的历史建筑进行了翻新和活化工程，而新建的建筑也采用现代中式建筑风格，“一街两埠四院十景“ 的概念为整个发展规划订立了框架，作为全国首个以“开埠文化与城市九级坡地地貌”为主题获批的国家 4A 级旅游景区。LWK + PARTNERS 室内设计团队同时设计了位于长嘉汇内的一德堂，这间区内第一间教堂以大型彩绘落地玻璃将自然光透入主教堂，而地下小堂则以现代简约的十字架作为空间唯一光源。

Chongqing’s Landmark Riverside Danzishi Old Street sits on a rejuvenated riverside heritage site.This retail complex now offers a comprehensive cultural commercial experience: historical buildings were preserved and refurbished while new structures were built with a modern Chinese architectural style so the old and new assimilate impressively well.The concept of ‘one street; two docks; four courts; ten scenic attractions’laid down the overall development plan for the site.It became the first 4A national scenic area to receive the honour under the theme of ‘port culture and Grade 9 hill slope forms’.LWK + PARTNERS Interiors Team also designed Yide Catholic Church, the first church in the district.Massive colourful stained glass filters the natural light entering the main church, while the underground side chapel features a modern, simplistic cross as the only light source in the space.
