一、教学目标

1.能听懂，会读，会说和会写单词：thirsty，happy，water，ill，tired。

2.能听懂，会说和运用句子：What’s the matter？Come and have …？I want to …

3.能正确地理解对话内容，能根据生活中的情景表示对他人的关爱之心。

4.能通过学习，学生能用贴切的形容词表达自己的感受。

二、教学重难点

1.教学重点：能用“What’s the matter？Are you …？”来询问对方感受，并会用“I’m …”来进行回答，能用“I want to …，Can I have some …，Here you are”来提出建议，表达自己的观点。

2.教学难点：能初步运用本课所学的知识来表达谢意和对他人的关心。

任务性教学、交际性教学、翻译性教学。

四、教学步骤

Step 1 Warm up

1.Enjoy the rhyme《Areyou ill》

2.T：Boys and girls，let’s play a game：Quickly respond.Do you like it？

【设计意图：以歌曲和游戏的形式引入教学，为下面的课文学习做好铺垫】

Step 2 Presentation

1.T：Let’s ask Liu Tao：“ What’s the matter？”（播放录音，板书What’s the matter？并带读）I’m hungry and thirsty.（用身体语言表达hungry、thirsty单词）

T：What can we do？We can say：Have some water and some cake.

2.T：Look at Liu Tao，ask him please.

T：Are you thirsty？（教师引导学生问）

Ss：What’s the matter with you？“I’m …”（学生做出相应动作）

3.Chant：

Hungry，hungry.Areyou hungry？

No.No，I’m not.

Matter，matter.What’s the matter？

Thirty，thirty.I am thirty.

4.同上教学单词tired，ill.

5.自编一个chant：____，___Are you______？____.No，____，________.____，___.What’s the____？____，___.I am______.

【设计意图：通过chant渗透感觉或感受的形容词，操练了本课的句型“What’s the matter？”并由此进入课文的学习】
