英语写作是“听、说、读”的综合反映， 学生能否运用已掌握的英语知识和技能进行思想表达在写作中可得到充分的体现，所以在高考英语试题中作文占的分值比较高，达25分。因此，在教学中，教师要让学生在平时的写作中运用一些技巧。如变换句型和句子种类，变换句子长度。

一、注重固定句式在写作当中的应用

在平时英语教学中，可以把一些课文或练习中的常用句式整理出来让学生在写作中习惯套用，也可以把这些句式叫英语写作万能句。

1.There is no doubt that——毫无疑问；2.What is known to us all is that——众所周知；3.There is no denying that——不可否认；4.It is generally acknowledged that——人们普遍认为；5.It would be a good idea if—— 很好；6.As far as Im concerned ——在我看来；7.It is obviously that——显然；8. The reason why...is that... ……的原因是……

下面以一篇高考真题作文为例，感受固定句式在有些写作当中的应用，以及在其他方面该注意的。

Writing （2011陕西，30分）假定你是中学生李华。在一位名叫Tigermom 的学生家长的博客上，你看到如下内容。请你根据博客内容、写作要点和要求，给这位家长回复。

Im the mother of a fourteen—year—old. I have a rule for my daughter： be among the top 5 students or get punished in one way or another. She has been doing very well in school， but some friends of mine keep telling me that I put to much pressure on her. Am I wrong？

写作要点：1.表明自己的看法。2.内容充实，结构完整，语意连贯。3.提出至少两条建议。

要求：1.短文词数不少于100。（不含已写好部分）2.内容充实，结构完整，语意连贯。3.书写必须清晰、工整。

下面是围绕这篇话题作文应用上面那些实用句型让学生在写作中变换句型和句子种类，变换句子长度。

1.你这么做不太对。

（1）It is wrong of you to do so.

（2）There is no doubt that it is wrong of you to do so.

2.原因如下。

二、注重连接词在写作中当的应用

在英语写作中长长的句子是珠子，而连接词则是线，要想使文章更加连贯则要用线把珠子串起来。学会使用恰当的连接词，使用恰当的连接词，能使整篇文章上下衔接自然、紧凑，使文章有一定的流畅性，以使文章层次清晰、行文连贯。有些英语写作书上或网络上给出了许多连接词，但反而给用的人一种无处下手的感觉，所以我在这里只给出一些最实用的表顺接、递进也就是在介绍同一事物的多个方面时要用到的。要注意的是在表达第一，第二，第三，最后时，最好不要用First， Second， Third， Finally而是用First of all/To begin with（第一）；Whats more（此外，第二）；In addition（此外，第三）；At the same time（同时，第四）； Last but not least（最后）。就上篇高考作文而言，应该考虑在陈述理由和写自己建议时把连接词用进去以使文章更加连贯。

三、注重高级词汇在写作当中的应用

新出台的书面表达评分标准鼓励考生“尽量使用较复杂或较高级词汇”，并对由此产生的错误采取了宽容的态度。这样一来，教师要求学生在力所能及的情况下尝试使用高级词汇，来显示自己的水平和提高自己书面表达的档次。比如，在刚才的那些句子中可以考虑做如下改变以使表达更高级。

1.尽管成绩对考大学很重要，健康和生活态度不能被忽视。

（1）Although grades are very important to college，health and life attitude can not be ignored.

（2）What is known to us all is that although grades are very important to college，health and life attitude can not be ignored.

（2）It is obvious that you can consider your friends advice.

（3） It is obvious that you can take your friends advice into consideration.
