1.One day，a dinosaur meets a hippo. “I havent seen you for a long time.Where have you been ？”he asks in surprise.

一天，恐龙碰到河马，他好奇地问：“好长时间没见你了，你上哪儿去了！”

2. “Ive just come back from the city. There are tall buildings，cars，gardens and amusement parks there. I had a good time.”

河马说：“我刚从城里回来，那儿有高楼、汽车、花园、游乐场……真好玩！”

3.The dinosaur envies very much. At night，he goes to the city by himself in the moonlight.

恐龙听了十分羡慕河马。夜里，在月光下，他独自朝城里走去。

4.The dinosaur feels tired.He gives a yawn and lies on the street and falls asleep.

恐龙来到城里天还没亮。他累了，打了个哈欠，往马路上一躺就睡着了。

5.In the morning，the adults go to work and the children go to school.

早晨，大人们要上班，小孩子要上学。

6. The dinosaur is sleeping in the middle of the street. People and the cars can not pass.

啊，恐龙睡在了马路中央，人们都过不去了，来往的车辆也排起了长队。

7.Someone telephones the police. A police car comes.

有人打了电话报警，警察开着警车赶来了。

8.A policeman strikes a gong，but the dinosaur doesnt wake up.

警察拿起一面铜锣：“哐哐哐……”使劲地敲，恐龙睡得很香，一动不动。

9. Fire engine comes. The firefighters put water on the dinosaur. He turns over and goes to sleep again.

消防车来了，消防员用水冲恐龙，恐龙翻了个身又睡着了。

10.A mouse says， “Let me try！”It crawls in the dinosaurs armpit and begins to scratch an itch.

一只小老鼠说：“让我来试试！”他爬到恐龙的胳肢窝里抓起了痒痒。”

11. “Ha ha...” The dinosaur wakes up. The laughter shakes the mouse down.

“哈哈哈……”恐龙醒了，笑声震得小老鼠从恐龙身上滚了下来。

12. “Im itching.” The dinosaur runs to the forest with a laughter. The traffic in the city returns to normal.

“痒啊，痒啊！”恐龙大笑着向森林跑去，城里的交通又恢复了正常。
