【简析】
1.“How is sb.？”常用来询问某人的健康状况如何，其回答通常是：“主语 + be + fine / OK / all right / very well.”等。例如：
—How is your grandfather？
—He is fine / very well， thank you.
——你爷爷身体好吗？
——很好， 谢谢。
2. “What is sb.？”主要用来询问某人所从事的职业，意为“……是干什么工作的？”。例如：
—What is your father？
—He is a doctor.
——你爸爸是干什么的？
——他是个医生。
3.“Who is sb.？”常用来询问姓名或与某人的关系， 常意为“……是谁？”。例如：
—Who is the girl in a red coat？
—She is my sister.
——那个穿红外套的女孩是谁？

4. “Where is sb.？”常用来询问某人在什么地方，回答时常用表示地点的介词短语。例如：
—Where is your mother？
—She is at work.

5.“What is sb. like？”用来询问某人的品质、个性或外貌。例如：
—Whats your father like？
—He is a very nice man.
——你爸爸是怎样一个人？

6.“What does sb. like？” 中的like 为实义动词，意为“喜欢”，该句型主要用来询问某人喜欢什么。例如：
—What does he like？
—He likes to play football.
——他喜欢什么？
——他喜欢踢足球。
7.“How does sb. look？”用来询问某人的容貌如何，有时也可用来询问某人的情绪或精神状态如何等。例如：
—How does she look？
—She looks very happy.
——她看上去情绪如何？
——她看上去很高兴。
8.“What does sb. look like？”主要用来询问某人外表（长相）像什么人，常译为“……长得像……？”。例如：

9.“What about sb.？”是用来询问某人的近况、处境如何，所问的范围涉及面很广，如身体、工作、学习、生活等。例如：
