天气越来越冷，为了度过寒冷的冬天，小青蛙和他的妈妈要钻进泥土里冬眠了。小青蛙和朋友们一一告别，他们相约明年春天再见。Let’s read the story.

It is getting cold now.

Winter is coming.

“Mama， it is cold！” says Little Frog.

“How do we pass（度过） this winter？”

“We can drill into the field（钻进泥土），” says Mum.

“And we come out the next spring.”

“Oh， we have a long sleep in winter，” says Little Frog.

“I need to say goodbye to my friends.”

Little Frog comes to see Little Rabbit.

“Goodbye， Little Rabbit，” says Little Frog.

“Why？” asks Little Rabbit.

“I will sleep till the next spring，” says Little Frog.

“Little Rabbit， how do you pass the winter？” asks Little Frog.

“We prepare（准备）enough carrots，” says Little Rabbit.  “And we have thick hair（厚厚的毛） to keep warm.”

“I will miss you， Little Rabbit，” says Little Frog.

“See you next spring.”

“I will miss you， too，” says Little Rabbit.

“Let’s play together in spring.”

Little Frog comes to see Little Swallow.

“Goodbye， Little Swallow，” says Little Frog.

“Why？” asks Little Swallow.

“I will sleep till the next spring，” says Little Frog.

“How do you pass the winter？” asks Little Frog.

“I don’t stay here in winter，” says Little Swallow.

“I fly south to find more food.”

“Take care of yourself， Little Swallow，” says Little Frog.

“See you next spring.”

“Thank you， Little Frog，” says Little Swallow.

“See you next spring.”

Little Frog comes to see Little Woodchuck.

“Goodbye， Little Woodchuck，” says Little Frog.

“Why？” asks Little Woodchuck.

“I will sleep in the field till the next spring，” says Little Frog.

“That calls hibernation（冬眠），” says Little Woodchuck.

“I sleep in my den（窩） all winter， too.”

“See you next spring，” says Little Frog.

“See you，” says Little Woodchuck.

If winter comes， can spring be far away？
