于是，齐宣王带着这只训练好的公鸡参加比赛。其他的公鸡又叫又跳，而纪渻子训练好的公鸡却一点反应都没有。别的公鸡看到它呆呆的、岿然不动的样子竟然都被吓跑了。结果，齐宣王的公鸡赢了这场比赛。
