2018年2月11日，習近平总书记在四川成都天府新区考察时，首次提出了建设公园城市的理念，特别指出“要突出公园城市特点，把生态价值考虑进去”。

近年来，全国各地深入践行“绿水青山就是金山银山”理念，以生态视野在城市构建山水林田湖草生命共同体、布局高品质绿色空间体系，将“城市中的公园”升级为“公园中的城市”。截至目前，除成都外，北京、广州、深圳、杭州等十余座城市先后提出建设“公园城市”的规划或设想。

有机融合公园形态与城市空间，建设高标准生态绿道串联城市公园，科学布局可进入可参与的休闲游憩和绿色开敞空间……“公园城市”建设推动公共空间与城市环境相融合、休闲体验与审美感知相统一，为城市可持续发展提供了中国智慧和中国方案——实际上，“公园城市”的背后，是一座城市长久发展和人民生活质量持续提升的高质量基础。

在与众多城市的比拼中，“城市公园”建设赛道上的青岛，资源禀赋毋庸置疑。近年来，青岛加快推进全域绿化，努力让绿色成为城市更新底色。青岛“公园城市”建设的起点，便是这座城的山、海、城、湾、河等自然景观资源和优良的人文景观资源。

In recent years， in a bid to thoroughly implement the concept that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets"， many regions are upgrading the "parks in the city" to the "city of parks". Up to now， more than ten cities in China have put forward plans or ideas for building cities of parks.

Over the past year， Qingdao has accelerated the promotion of greening across the city， to make green the background color of urban renewal. Relying on natural landscape resources such as mountains， seas， bays and rivers and excellent cultural landscape resources， the overall planning for building Qingdao into a city of parks has been started.
