Construction of the first China-Russia cross-border cableway speeds up

6月1日，中俄首条跨境索道黑河—布拉戈维申斯克黑龙江（阿穆尔河）跨境索道进入双方同步基础施工阶段。为抢抓施工黄金期，中俄业主、施工方及法国设计方力争在12月底进行索道机械安装。

On June 1, the first China-Russia cross-border cableway linking Heihe and Blagoveshchensk across the Heilongjiang River (Amur) started foundation construction in both countries.In order to seize the golden period of construction,the Chinese and Russian owners, construction contractors and French designers strive to install the cableway machinery at the end of December.

中工国际：埃塞糖厂正式投产

CAMCE:Sugar factory in Ethiopia officially put into operation

6月6日，中工国际承建的埃塞俄比亚贝雷斯1号糖厂项目举行出糖庆典仪式。该项目建成后，每年可产精糖20 万吨，并创造近万个工作岗位。

June 6 witnessed the sugar production ceremony of Tana Beles No.1 sugar factory in Ethiopia, which was undertaken by China CAMC Engineering Co.,Ltd.(CAMCE).After the completion of the project,200,000 tons of refined sugar can be produced every year, and nearly 10,000 new jobs can be created.

中建一局：俄罗斯化工项目开工

China Construction First Group:Construction of chemical project in Russia starts

5月29日，中建一局三公司承建的俄罗斯阿穆尔天然气化工（AGCC）乙烯ISBL 项目开工。该项目占地面积约28 万平方米，建成后将成为远东地区最大的聚合物工厂。

On May 29, Russia saw the start of building Amur Gas Chemical Complex (AGCC) ethylene ISBL project undertaken by the Third Construction Co., Ltd.of China Construction First Group.The project covers an area of about 280,000 square meters.Once completed, it will become the largest polymer factory in the Far East region.

中设集团：签约乌拉圭输变电项目

CMEC:Ink the EPC contract for Uruguay’s Power Transmission and Transformation Project

5月31日，中设集团签约“乌拉圭500kV 输变电环网闭合项目”EPC 总承包合同，项目建设内容主要包括新建一座500 千伏变电站、扩建一座500千伏变电站、新建约355公里500千伏单回线路。

On May 31, China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) formally inked the EPC contract for Uruguay’s 500kV Power Transmission and Transformation Ring Network Closed Project.This project mainly includes building a new 500kV substation, expanding a 500kV substation and newly building about 355 kilometers of 500kV single circuit.

中老铁路隧道全部贯通

All tunnels drilled through on China-Laos Railway

6月5日，中老铁路景寨隧道安全贯通。至此，中老铁路全线167 座隧道全部贯通。中老铁路全长1000 多公里，建成通车后，昆明市到老挝万象有望实现直达运输、当日通达。

On June 5, the Jingzhai Tunnel of the China-Laos Railway was successfully drilled through.By now, all 167 tunnels on the rail line have been holed through.Once completed, the over-1,000-kilometerlong China-Laos Railway will offer a direct rail line from Kunming to Vientiane, with the travel time to be shortened to less than a day.

6月6日，以“美丽中国”为主题的以色列2021年“中国旅游文化周”开幕。集中展示中国不同地域的美景、美食和风土人情。
