内容摘要：20世纪以来，西方哲学发生了语言学转向。受此影响，从新批评到结构主义再到解构主义的文学理论，“作者”的权威不断受到挑战，主体性地位不断被边缘化，甚至面临“死亡”窘境。现有的作者问题研究主要停留在文本阐释层面，囿于作者与文本的关系。本文回到西方文明源头，分析希伯来传统与希腊传统对语言功能与真理关系认知模式，反思后现代西方“作者问题”困境的实质。

Title： The Dilemma and Reflection of the “Authorship” in the West

Abstract： Since the 20th century， Western philosophy has undergone a linguistic turn. In the wake of this， new criticism， structuralism， and deconstructionism have challenged and undermined the authority of the “author”， and the authorial subjectivity has been continuously marginalized， even facing the dilemma of “the death of the author”. Existing research on the issue of authors mainly stays at the level of text interpretation， confined to the relationship between the author and the text. This article returns to the source of Western civilization， analyzes the cognitive models of the relationship between language function and truth in the Hebraist tradition and the Hellenist tradition， and reflects on the essence of the predicament of the “authorship” in the post-modern West.

古希腊时期是西方“作者问题”的滥觞，“许多现代作者范畴内的基本区别和范式都是在古希腊出现的，用这种方式或许可以引发我们对作者观念的不同思考”（Bennett 31-32）。不过，古希腊时期尚无现代意义的“作者”概念，与之相应的是“诗人”①概念，所以“诗人问题”是古希腊时期诗学理论的核心问题。现代英文词“author”源于中世纪的“auctor”（创制者、作者）②，“auctor”是尘世的权威，他们奠定了中世纪各个门类知识的规则和原理，并为整个中世纪的道德、政治权威等提供了许可。随着美洲新大陆的“发现”、文艺复兴运动及欧洲封建制度的解体，作者功能也发生了根本性的变化。“创制者”开始转变为凌驾于整个文化领域之上的“天才”。他们从政治生活中解放出来，成为完全自律的“Republic of Letters”③的主宰。伴随着从“创制者”到“天才”的转变，作者功能从生产一种替代性的政治秩序，转变为生产政治世界之外的文化替代物④。……
