9月29日，重慶举行庆祝中华人民共和国成立72周年招待会。市委副书记、市长唐良智出席招待会并致辞。

唐良智代表市委、市人大常委会、市政府、市政协，代表陈敏尔书记，向全市各族人民致以节日问候，向长期关心支持重庆发展的海内外朋友表示衷心感谢。唐良智说，今年是中华人民共和国成立72周年，也是中国共产党百年华诞。百年恰是风华正茂，百年初心历久弥坚。党的十八大以来，以习近平同志为核心的党中央团结带领中国人民，统揽伟大斗争、伟大工程、伟大事业、伟大梦想，统筹推进“五位一体”总体布局、协调推进“四个全面”战略布局，中华民族迎来了从站起来、富起来到强起来的伟大飞跃，实现中华民族伟大复兴进入了不可逆转的历史进程。伴随着祖国富强、民族复兴的时代步伐，重庆这座英雄的城市走过了不平凡的历程，巴渝大地发生了翻天覆地的变化。近年来，我们紧紧围绕把总书记殷殷嘱托全面落实在重庆大地上这条主线，统筹疫情防控和经济社会发展，加快建设内陆开放高地、山清水秀美丽之地，奋力推动高质量发展、创造高品质生活，努力在推进新时代西部大开发中发挥支撑作用、在推进共建“一带一路”中发挥带动作用、在推进长江经济带绿色发展中发挥示范作用。今年上半年，实现地区生产总值1.29万亿元、增长12.8%，全市经济稳中有进，高质量发展动能持续增强，“十四五”开局起步态势良好。产业转型升级步伐加快，智能产业、智能制造、智能化应用协同发展;科技创新活力不断增强，西部（重庆）科学城建设全面启动，全市累计引进102家高校院所企业来渝设立研发机构;内陆开放持续深化，中欧班列（成渝）号累计开行超过3500班，西部陆海新通道通达106个国家（地区）;区域协调发展格局加快构建，成渝地区双城经济圈建设迈入快车道，“一区两群”各片区发挥优势、彰显特色、协同发展;城市品质不断提升，以“两江四岸”为主轴的城市更新初见成效，坡坎崖正变为美丽的“城市挂毯”，边角地成为市民家门口的公园，山城步道步移景换、一步一景，历史文化老街区焕发新活力;乡村振兴全面推进，生态宜居美丽乡村建设迈出新步伐;生态质量稳步提高，重庆天更蓝、山更绿、水更清、空气更清新;民生保障更加有力，人民群众获得感、幸福感、安全感不断增强。

On September 29， reception celebrating the 72nd Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China was held in Chongqing. Tang Liangzhi， deputy secretary of CPC Chongqing Committee and mayor， attended the reception and delivered a speech.

On behalf of the CPC Chongqing Committee， the Standing Committee of the Chongqing People's Congress， the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and the Chongqing People's Political Consultative Conference as well as secretary Chen Miner， Tang Liangzhi extended sincere festival greetings to the people of all ethnic groups in the city and expressed heartfelt thanks to friends at home and abroad who have long cared about and supported the development of Chongqing. Tang Liangzhi said that this year marks the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China as well as the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. A century on from its founding， the Communist Party of China is still in its prime. Its original aspiration remains even firmer a century later. Since the 18th CPC National Congress， the Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has led the Chinese people in pursuing a great struggle， a great project， a great cause， and a great dream to ensure the coordinated implementation of the Five-sphere Integrated Plan and the Four-pronged Comprehensive Strategy. The Chinese nation has achieved the tremendous transformation from standing upright to becoming prosperous and growing in strength， and that China's rejuvenation is an unstoppable historical force. With the pace of prosperity of the country and national rejuvenation， Chongqing， a heroic city， has gone through an extraordinary journey with mind-blowing changes taken place on the land of Bayu. In recent years， closely focusing on the main task of fully implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's ardent expectations towards Chongqing， we are coordinating epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development， accelerating the construction of an inland opening-up high ground and a land of natural beauty， vigorously promoting high-quality development and creating high-quality life， and striving to play a supporting role in pushing forward western development in a new era， as well as playing a leading role in driving the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" and an exemplary role in the green development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. In the first half of this year， the regional GDP reached 1.29 trillion yuan， an increase of 12.8%. The city's economy made steady progress with the high-quality development momentum continued reinforcing and the "14th Five-Year Plan" started well. The pace of industrial transformation and upgrading has been accelerated with intelligent industry， intelligent manufacturing and intelligent application collaboratively developed; the vitality of scientific and technological innovation has been continuously enhanced with the construction of the Western （Chongqing） Science City fully launched and a total of 102 colleges， universities， institutes and enterprises coming to Chongqing to set up R&D institutions in the city; the inland opening-up continues deepening with over 3，500 China-Europe Railway Express （Chengdu-Chongqing） services operated and 106 countries （regions） reached via new western land-sea corridor; the construction of regional coordinated development pattern has been accelerated with the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle in a fast lane and each area of "one district and two town clusters" giving full play to its advantages， highlighting its characteristics and cooperating in development; following the continuous improvement of urban quality， the urban renewal with "Two Rivers and Four Riversides" as the main axis has achieved initial results with Pokan Cliff becoming a beautiful "urban tapestry"， the margin land turning into parks at the door of citizens' homes， the scenery of mountainous trails changing at every step and the old historical and cultural blocks bursting new vitality; rural revitalization has been comprehensively promoted with new steps taken in the construction of ecologically livable and beautiful countryside; the ecological quality has been steadily improved， which brings Chongqing bluer sky， greener mountains， clearer water and fresher air; the people's livelihood has been guaranteed more effectively with a continuously enhanced sense of gain， happiness and security.

According to Tang Liangzhi， Chongqing is now in the midst of a promising era and has embarked on a new journey of socialist modernization. Following the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and based on the new stage of development， we implement the new development concept in a complete， accurate and comprehensive way， and actively serve and integrate into the new development pattern. We uphold innovation， lead industrial transformation and upgrading with scientific and technological innovation， and expedite the construction of a key economic center and scientific and technological innovation center with national influence; we stress coordination， vigorously promote the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle， and comprehensively propel the collaborative development of "one district and two town clusters"; we advocate greenness， ensure carbon peak and neutrality in an overall and orderly manner， and build an important ecological barrier in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River; we deepen opening up， give full play to the advantages of important nodes of domestic and international dual circulation， give impetus to the service industry for expanding the building of the opening-up comprehensive pilot and the cultivation of an international consumption center city， and accelerate the construction of a new high ground of reform and opening up; we push forward sharing， speed up the construction of high-quality living and livable places， and achieve common prosperity in high-quality development. Chongqing is an auspicious place that "delights people nearby and attracts those far away". We will continue building a market-oriented， law-based and international business environment， creating greater platform and stage for entrepreneurship， cultivating fertile soil for development with favorable policies and better services， and "A Tour in Chongqing· A Gain in Vision" with friends at home and abroad in Chongqing， "A Land of Natural Beauty， A City with Cultural Appeal"， so as to jointly compose a new chapter of cooperation and development.

Foreign consuls general and principal consular officials in Chongqing and Chengdu， representatives of some foreign institutions， representatives of Hong Kong， Macao and Taiwan， representatives of foreign experts， foreign-funded enterprises and foreign teachers， representatives of overseas resident journalists in Chongqing， and heads of relevant municipal departments and units attended the reception.
