谈增胜

現年23岁的索尔弗兰克自2015年从事跑酷运动以来,一直是跑酷世界的先锋人物,她希望越来越多的女性能加入这项运动。

Tired of the “rules” of gymnastics, Silke Sollfrank turned to a world of free running and body exploration.

Sollfrank says parkour(跑酷) wasn t exactly the route her father had hoped she d take. But she persisted and now, she wants more women to take up parkour in the future.

Sollfrank, 23, has been a pioneer in the world of parkour since she took up the sport in 2015.

“I really wanted to do more than following rules. So I quit gymnastics at some point and then, someone asked me if I was doing parkour. I said, ‘No, what s that? Show me. and then he showed me everything. He showed me the rules.”

Considered as an extreme sport, parkour involves jumping, climbing and running around urban landscapes. The sport originally came from France in the 1980s and was created by a group of 9 young men, including David Belle, who later coined the name “Parkour” for the sport. The term comes from the French word “parcours” meaning route, or course. Parkour is generally a non competitive sport that prides itself on moving freely over any environment.

Sollfrank has competed in the world s big gest parkour competitions. She participated in the Netflix show Ulitimate Beastmaster and was the last woman standing in her Ninja Warrior Germany episode. She s also the only woman in the 15 member parkour group Ashigara.

“I realized that I need to set my own limits. I need to focus on my movement instead of always comparing to other people as well. When I was in gymnastics, I was comparing myself to other women and trying to be better than them. Parkour is a great way to challenge your body and mind, learn new skills and make new friends.”
