讀后续写这一题型既综合性地检验考生的语言能力，又要求其在语篇形式中展现自己的文化意识和思维品质，贴近新课标中所设定目标的“形成正确的价值观和道德情感”。通常来说，文章的结尾、主题的升华是考生的深层次理解能力体现之处，也是其语言精炼所在。

本文以1月份八省联考模拟题和3篇续写高考真题为例，结合考生在写作练笔中的具体困惑，探讨如何拟好点亮续写主题（theme）的结尾句。

[例1] 2021年1月八省联考题

故事梗概：陌生人帮助修车后，偷偷返还作者给的报酬。

提炼主题：帮助他人。

拟好结尾：这个故事既是“助人”主题，结尾便可融入陌生家庭不计回报的帮助给作者所带来的冲击或者感慨，并考虑将具体事件向意义所在（句1）、人生思考（句2）、未来展望、传递善良（句3、句4）升华。

结尾句1：It was at that moment that I realized such acts of kindness are opportunities to know how good it feels to be kind and helpful.

结尾句2：The family made me really moved， and I finally understood it is kindness and help that make the world go around.

结尾句3：Having learned a life lesson from the family， I made up my mind to help more people in the future.

结尾句4：Since then Ive decided to help others more， as kindness is one thing that really deserves to be passed on from one to another.

[例2] 2020年7月新高考卷（山东）

故事梗概：孩子们用卖爆米花的方法，帮助贫困家庭解决经济困难。

提炼主题：帮助他人。

拟好结尾：这一篇高考真题中的故事同样是“助人”主题，也同样是一个家庭对别人的帮助，不同的是，有想法和有行动的是一群善良而又聪明的孩子。结尾可自然融入孩子们通过帮助他人得到心灵成长，考虑把一个具体事件向获得快乐（句1）、自身成长（句2）、领悟人生道理（句3、句4）升华。

结尾句1：All of this was because of Johns bright idea and the familys help. For them， it was really an unforgettable and cheerful life experience.

结尾句2：It turned out that their efforts not only helped a friend in need， but also gave themselves the sweet taste of helping others.

结尾句3：It is love and helping others that make the world go around and Bernard felt it deep in his little heart.

结尾句4：Bernard was deeply moved and thankful， and he knew from the bottom of his heart that it was not just money， but love， kindness and friendship that filled his little pot.

[例3] 2020年7月浙江卷

故事梗概：作者和妻子在拍摄北极熊过程中遭遇攻击，最终脱险。

提炼主题：脱离险境。

拟好结尾：在“人与自然”的主题语境下，人与动物的故事中也往往渗透着作者的情感、态度和价值观。……
