注意：achieve后跟的宾语一般是“实现的目标、目的等”，也可以是“取得的胜利、成功、名誉、地位等”。

achievement  n.  成就;成绩

It was a remarkable achievement for such a young player.

7. weigh  v.  重量是……;称……的重量

She weighs 60 kilos.

她体重为60公斤。

She weighed the stone in her hand.

8. research  n. & v.  研究;调查

作名词时，其后接介词into/on表示研究、调查的对象。

He has carried out research into renewable energy sources.

他已经对可再生能源进行了研究。

She spent two years researching and filming her documentary.

9. awake  adj.  醒着

形容词awake在句中作表语。

I was still awake when he came to bed.
