Activity 1

Before you read， decide which word （1-6） goes with which meaning （a-f）.

Other newspapers are seen as more serious than this kind of newspaper. Its pages are usually smaller than a normal newspaper， about half the size.

One kind of tabloid article is about crime. A tabloid will normally give you a lot more details than a normal newspaper. Usually there are photos of some horrible things， including dead bodies and blood.

You can also read all about famous people's lives， including who is dating whom， who is friends with whom， and who are angry at each other. Sometimes tabloids write too many things about famous people's lives.

Something else you can read about is sports. There are many articles about famous sports people and their families and lives. Shocking， shocking and more shocking stories！

Don't worry， it's not all about other people. You can read a horoscope to learn more about your own life and get advice.
