Port Leading to the World： Port and City of Ningbo

為纪念明州（宁波）子城建设1200周年，本次展览汇集了宁波城市考古六十余年来的重要成果，精选了百余件（套）与宁波港城发展历史相关的文物展品，分为“河海交汇，港城肇基（战国—唐）”“贾舶交至，港城勃兴（五代—元）”“内外兼济，港城共生（明—1840）”“时代巨变，港城转型（1840—1949）”“通达天下，港城新篇（现代）”五个单元，以宁波港口与城市发展历史为主题，解码“城以港兴”的发展基因，重现“港城互动”的千年轨迹，详实地讲述宁波从孕育到兴盛繁荣，又历经元明清的荣衰，再到近代的嬗变、当代的新生的历史发展轨迹。

据了解，展览期间，主办方将组织系列主题专家讲座、青少年社教等丰富的公众活动，进一步解读宁波的港城发展历史，实现博物馆的社会教育功能。

T brings together important archeological achievements on Ningbo over the past 60 years， and selects more than 100 pieces （sets） of cultural relics related to the development history of Ningbo as a port city. Arranged in chronological order， the exhibition tells the history of Ningbo city in five parts， from its founding to the present day，

A series of lectures by experts， youth social education programs and public activities will be organized during the exhibition， to help the public further understand the development history of Ningbo as a port city.
