（1）T：Sydney is beautiful. It is in Australia. And which animal is from Australia?

Ss：Kangaroo

T：Look! A stamp of kangaroo.

【设计意图】感受澳大利亚的美和人文，引出标志性动物袋鼠，由袋鼠巧妙一变，成了一张袋鼠邮票，为下面埋下伏笔。

（2）T：Wow！A postcard. Who is in Sydney?

Task1：Listen and answer

T：Whose dad?

S：Johns dad.

——So the postcard is from dad to John.

T：And where is John?

S：He is in Beijing.

——So the postcard is from Sydney to Beijing.

【设计意图】任务1：听音回答问题，初步感知文本内容，厘清文本主线，渗透听音技巧。

Step3 Practice

（1）Now Mike is talking with John on Wechat. What are they talking about?

（Write the sentence：Is it sunny?/Yes，it is./ No，it isnt.）

【设计意图】创设John和Mike微信界面聊天情境，在聊天界面教授学生书写重点句型，几个相似句子进行比较和选择，规避学生在书写中可能会犯下的错误。

（2）J：Mum，can I write to dad?

M：Yes，you can.

J：What should I say?

【设计意图】创设John与妈妈面对面聊天的情境，引出John想回明信片，但不知道该怎么写明信片，该写些什么内容，从而再次读一读明信片上的文本，了解明信片的格式和写法。

【设计意图】在明信片的文本上画出句子并概括写的内容，可以有这样的5个方面，让学生知道写明信片可以往哪些方面写。
