Abstract:Immersion means to let the public forget the real world and focus only on the scene in front of them.Immersive theory originally originated from language teaching practices, such as immersive foreign language training.Today, immersive expression and application have been extended to many fields such as contemporary art, film, commerce, and games. It is science and technology that realizes the immersive space and promotes its development. This article focuses on the design of Impressionists in immersive spaces, and how the light and color of Impressionists are presented to the public with the help of immersive spaces.

Key words:Immersive;Impressionism;Technology

1.The emergence of immersive spaces

"Immersion" means to make people feel as if they are in that place, both physically and mentally. So that I forget the things around me.So we can further know that "immersive experience" actually refers to being in a specific space,With the help of sound, light, electricity and other elements,Using human sensory and cognitive experience,So that participants have a feeling of being in the virtual world,Thereby providing participants with a fully immersive experience. The biggest feature of immersive space is the sense of technology, sensory, and fun.It is also an important reason why it is more attractive to the public than ordinary spaces. It is also an important reason why it is more attractive to the public than ordinary spaces.

2.How to realize Impressionism in an immersive space

2.1Treatment of light in immersive space

The "Museum of Light" in Paris,Its predecessor was a cast iron workshop built in the 19th century. And now,Artists have built it into an interactive and immersive space. In this pavilion,From top to bottom,It is about 3000 square meters from left to right,The whole is transformed into a 360-degree magnificent sound image canvas with no dead ends.So how does such a large-scale venue that is not presented through paper paintings show us the feelings that the light and shadow are intact or even exceed the paper paintings in the frame?

2.1.2 Adjustment of the brightness of the lights in the hall and the arrangement of the projection screen

Although this kind of projection equipment projects the master's paintings, the lights in the venue must be matched with the entire painting to achieve unity. In order to maintain and highlight the light and shadow of the product itself, there are not too many lights on the ceiling in the museum, but some small spotlights with very low brightness are used at the top of the projection screen to fill in the light. The darkness of the ceiling is just contrasted. The light perception of the painting itself. To change from two-dimensional to three-dimensional in an immersive space,a common method is to break the notion that only the wall is the carrier and turn both the ceiling and the ground into a carrier. As the ground is below people's sight, its brightness cannot exceed the vertical wall as the carrier. If the brightness of the ground is higher than that of the wall, people will feel very dazzling due to reflections.

2.2Color processing in immersive space

2.2.1Recomposition and secondary processing

The work "The Starry Night" does not appear on the screen in a single cycle, but rather blurs the entire painting, which seems flat, but it is not.The projection technology extended the paintings in the frame, but the stars and moons, which should have only existed in the sky, appeared under their feet.It puts the visual center of the painting, that is,the focus of the entire picture on the vertical wall as the carrier projection screen;the background color, that is,the secondary part of the entire picture,is placed on the ground as the carrier projection screen .This not only ensures that people's visual center is not changed, but is still near the horizontal line, but also the color of the entire picture is covered on all the projection screens as the carrier. This kind of processing will not disturb people's perception, and will not make people's eyes feel tired visually. Not only makes the whole painting have the main and subordinates, but also makes the colors distinct. The visual center of the entire work is the location of the building. This part has not been "circulated" in its own paintings, and it appears as a single individual. The sky part of the work appears as a "cycle".

3.The meaning of immersive space

The emergence of immersive experience has made great achievements in many industries. It brings people a new feeling, which also confirms the progress of science and technology. This method of using projection technology to present the work itself not only greatly reduces the amount of information management such as the original paintings, cultural relics, etc.,but also saves space. All the works can be realized through projection technology,so there is no need to replace and move the animation frame itself. The simple display of text and paintings in a traditional art gallery would seem very dull and boring. This new immersive experience will attract the attention of more young people, and it is a trend of the times.
