6月1日，市政府外辦党组召开扩大会议，专题传达学习习近平总书记在全国两会期间重要讲话精神和十三届全国人大三次会议、全国政协十三届三次会议精神及全市领导干部会议精神。市政府外办党组书记、主任章勇武主持会议并讲话，全体办领导，机关各处室、各直属事业单位负责人参加会议。

会议要求，全办上下要切实增强“四个意识”，坚定“四个自信”，做到“两个维护”，把学习贯彻总书记重要讲话和全国两会精神作为当前的一项重大政治任务，与学习贯彻总书记视察重庆重要讲话精神结合起来，进一步增强使命感、责任感、紧迫感，全面抓好外事领域各项工作落实。

会议强调，要充分发挥市政府外办作为市疫情防控工作领导小组外事联络组牵头单位的职能职责，抓实抓细外防输入举措，加强对境外我市公民的关心关爱，做好在渝外籍人士的防疫服务管理工作，按要求有序推进疫情防控国际合作。

On June 1st the Party Group of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government （FAOCMG） held an enlarged meeting to convey and study the guidelines of general secretary Xi Jinpings important speech delivered at the third session of the 13th National People's Congress （NPC）， the third plenary session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference （CPPCC）， and the municipality's leadership meeting as well. Zhang Yongwu， secretary of the Party Group and director-general of the FAOCMG， presided over the meeting and delivered a speech， leaders of the office， the division offices， and the affiliated institutions attended the meeting.

The meeting required that the entire office should enhance "Four Consciousnesses" （maintaining political integrity， thinking in terms of the big picture， following the leadership core， and keeping in alignment with the central Party leadership）， firm "Four Matters of Confidence"（the socialist path， theory， system， and culture）， and do "two maintenance" well （strengthening the Party's organizational system and ensuring the orderly running of the Party's organizational system）. It called for implementing the general secretary's important speeches and the guiding principles of the two sessions as a major political task， combining into the general secretary's speeches during his visit in an inspection tour to Chongqing， enhancing the sense of mission， responsibility， and urgency in all respects， and putting in place the implementation of all the work related to international affairs.

The meeting made repeated call to use the offices functional role to the full as a department in charge of the foreign affairs and liaison team under the municipality's leading group of pandemic prevention and control. The office is required to have much the attention and care for Chongqings citizens working and living abroad， manage well services for foreigners in Chongqing in the pandemic containment， and promote international cooperation in an orderly manner as required.
