1Theintroduction

Sincesalonexhibitionacceptedphotographyandselecteditaccordingtoartstandards，salonphotographyhasbecomethebasicformofartphotography，whichhasplayedagreatroleinpromotingthewidespreadofphotography.

Photographywasborninthewest，hasahistoryofmorethan170years，inthesocietyderivedmanyUSES，salonphotographyisoneofthem.Thecombinationofsalonandphotographywastheproductofphotographyactivitiescarriedoutbytheupperclassatthattime.Itgatheredmanypeoplewhowereinterestedinphotographytodiscussallaspectsofphotographytogether.Therefore，photographysalonisalsotheoriginofvariousmodernphotographyassociationsandclubs.

Salonphotographyinmodernsocietyisarelativelyindependentsystem，whichisdifferentfromthemainstreamartintermsofsubjectmatter，style，competition，exhibitionandoperationmode.

Theword“salon”comesfromtheFrenchsalon，whichoriginallyreferstothehallorlivingroomofabuilding.Later，itwasextendedtothereception，whichistheregularsocialgatheringofthecelebritiesofwesternsocietyathome.Andregardartsalonas，needtosatisfyafewconditions：itistheartistsuchaswriter，painter，2itisinthehomeofsocialite，3itistoholdregularly.

2Definitionandhistoricaloriginofsalonphotography

Fromtheendofthe19thcenturytothebeginningofthe20thcentury，salonphotographybecamethebasicformofartphotography，andasanartexhibitionsystemandformofexhibition，graduallydevelopedintoaninternationalfilmexhibitionwithextensiveparticipation.

Sincethe1920s，withtheestablishmentofmodernphotography，photographyhasenteredastageofdiversifieddevelopment，showinganincrediblevarietyofpossibilities.Fromtheperspectiveofaestheticconcept，salonphotographycanbeunderstoodaspictorialphotography.However，asakindofderivativeinthedevelopmentofphotography，salonphotographyisoneofthemostextensiveandparticipatoryphotographictechniquesgraduallyformedwiththepopularizationofphotography.

Salonphotographyupholdaestheticism，artforartssake.Andthemeaningofpictorialphotographyisroughlythesame，butcannotbeclassifiedasthesameasnewsphotography，documentaryphotography，althoughthereisoverlapinthesubjectandcontent，butitsshootingpurposeandthemeaningofexpressionisnotthesame，thisisthedistinctionbetweenfreehandbrushworkandfreehandbrushwork.However，thispursuitofaestheticismiseasilyrecognizedandlovedbythemasses，sosalonphotographycompetitionsandexhibitionsarestillthemostnumerousphotographyactivitiesintheworld.

Photographycontestisusuallyanareaformostofthesalonlimitlocation，aliterarytheme，suchasnaturalscenery，sociallife，portraittoclassification，someletapersongetnotclearistoseekinformationrecordsorartperformance，leadtoworkmostlyintheauthenticityandartistrybetweenfuzzyuncertainty，inthelongterm，salonstyleofphotographyhasbecomeakindofsystem.

Weshouldphotographforsocietyssake，notforphotographyssake.Donotrelytoomuchontheequipment，tothinkmore，takemorethematicphotography，withtheirownheart，eyes，wisdomassupport，onthewaytoforgeaheadinphotography.
