踏青的英文是 have an outing in spring， outing是外出的意思，春天出门游玩可以称为探春、寻春。我们平常说的春游是 spring outing。踏青还有一种说法是 go for a walk in the country in spring。country除了有国家的意思，还有乡村、田野的意思，而游走于田野间感受春天的气息，便是踏青了。
