2018年11月19日2時7分，我国在西昌卫星发射中心用长征三号乙运载火箭（及远征一号上面级），以“一箭双星”方式成功发射第四十二、四十三颗北斗导航卫星，这两颗卫星属于中圆地球轨道卫星，是我国北斗三号系统第十八、十九颗组网卫星。北斗三号向“一带一路”国家和地区提供基本导航服务，迈出从国内走向国际、从区域走向全球“三步走”战略的“关键一步”。

China has successfully sentry win BDS satellites into space by a Long March- 3B launch vehicle（with an Expedition-1 upper stage）from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center at 02：07 a.m. on November19th， 2018. The twins， both MediumEarth Orbit （MEO） satellites， are the 42nd and 43rd of the Bei Dou Navigation Satellite System （BDS）， and the 18th and 19th of the BDS- -3 family.BDS-3 is designed to provide basicnavigation services for countries and regions participating the Belt and RoadInitiative， which will be a "key step" forBDS- 3 in pursuing the "three- -step"strategy that aims for an increase from domestic to international presence， and from regional to global coverage.

China' s achievements in BDShave certainly not come easily.Twenty-odd years ago， China was still exerting itself to catch up with the best， while today， twenty- odd years down the line， China is running neck and neck with the best. Without the devotion of our Chinese BDS people，China wouldn't' have made such a"striking leap-forward" in satellite navigation within such a short timespan.
