小豬和小熊是一对好朋友。秋天来了，树叶从树上落下来，铺满了整个院子。今天，小猪和小熊都想给对方一个惊喜（surprise），是什么惊喜呢？Let’s read the story.

It is November.

The leaves fall（掉落） from the trees.

They fall on Pig’s yard（院子）.

They fall on Bear’s yard.

“These leaves are messy（凌乱的）,” says Bear.

“I will run to Pig’s house and rake（用耙子耙） all his leaves. Pig will be very surprised.”

Bear takes a rake（耙子）.

Pig takes a rake too.

“I will go to Bear’s house,”says Pig.

“I will rake all the leaves in his yard.

Bear will be surprised.”

Pig runs through the forest so that Bear can not see him.

Bear runs over rocks so that Pig can not see him.

Pig comes to Bear’s house.

He looks in the window.

“Good,”says Pig.

“Bear is out. He will never

know who rakes his leaves.”

Bear gets to Pig’s house.

He looks in the window.

“Good,” says Bear.

“Pig is not at home. He will never guess who rakes his leaves.”

Pig rakes the leaves into a pile（堆）.

Soon Bear’s yard becomes clean.

Pig starts home.

Bear rakes the leaves into a pile.

Soon there is not a leaf in Pig’s yard.

Bear starts home.

A strong wind comes.

The pile of leaves that Pig rakes for Bear blows everywhere.

Pig gets home.

“Tomorrow I will clean up the leaves in my own

yard,” says Pig.

“How surprised Bear must be!”

Bear gets home.

“Tomorrow I will get to work and rake my

own leaves,” says Bear.

“How surprised Pig must be!”

This night Pig and Bear are both happy when they go to bed.
