農场上，马和羊赶来了，猪、鸭子、猫和狗跑来了，就连小小的老鼠也来了。它们要做什么呢？原来是要营救它们的农场主。它们能成功吗？Let’s read the story.

Mr. Brown is a farmer.

He is very hard-working（勤劳的）.

He lives in a farm with animals.

One day， Mr. Brown wants to fix（修理） his house.

He climbs to the house roof（屋顶）.

Mr. Brown wants to get down.

But his ladder（梯子） falls.

“Help！” yells（叫喊） Mr. Brown.

“I can’t get down！”

“I’ll help you， my farmer，” says Horse.

“I’ll go with you，” says Goat.

“I want to go， too，” says Pig.

“Don’t forget me，” says Duck.

“We want to go too，” say Dog and Cat.

“Wait for me！” squeaks（吱吱说） Mouse.

They get to Mr. Brown’s house.

But they don’t know how to rescue their farmer.

Mouse looks around（环顾四周）.

“Wait. I have an idea，” says Mouse.

He jumps on Horse and tells Horse.

“Great idea！” says Horse.

“Jump on me， Pig，” says Horse.

“Jump on me， Goat，” says Pig.

Then， Dog jumps on Goat.

Cat jumps on Dog.

Duck jumps on Cat.

Mouse jumps on Duck.

“We make an animal ladder now，” says Mouse.

“Hi， Farmer Brown，” says Mouse.

“You can climb down on us.”

“Thank you， my dear animals，” says the farmer.

“You make a great ladder for me.”

That’s how Farmer Brown is rescued.
