Watch a video

Q: Yesterday, I received a letter from a special person. This letter is for you. Lets read it together!

设计意图: 以收到一封信激发学生的学习兴趣,同时导出本课的话题“假期计划”。

Task Presenting

Write back to Joss.

T: Our task is write back to Joss about your summer holiday plan.

You will put your letter in this big envelope. After the class, Ill sent it to Joss.

设计意图:介绍本课学习任务,明确学习目标。

New Language Learning

1.Check preview worksheet.

Teaching words: museum, restaurant.

Summarizing main idea of the letter.

2.Watch a video and finish the worksheet about Linglings holiday plan.

T: Please discuss in pairs about Ms. Duans holiday plan.

Where will I visit? /When will I go there? / What will I see? What will I eat? /    How will I go there? (补充交通方式)

S: You will visit Guangzhou.

S: You will go there in summer holiday.

S: You will see Chime Long Park.

S: You will eat shrimp dumplings.

S: You will go there by plane.

设计意图:进一步熟悉思维导图的构建,为后续描述自己的假期计划做铺垫。

设计意图:综合运用语言,根据自己的真实情况完成任务。

Summary

1.Summarize the lesson.

T: Today we learnt how to write a holiday plan. You can write from these aspects.

And we write a letter to Joss. I believe your letters will be hopeful to him.

2.Recommend websites.

T: If your plan doesnt have some details, these two websites can help you.

Such as hotels, landmarks and restaurants.

設计意图:总结本文所学,扩充与话题相关的网站,将学习延伸到课外。
