Mi Hongfei engaged in advanced studies at the Oil Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts （CAFA） from 2011 to 2013， and later studied at the advanced class of the classic materials at CAFA in 2018. His works have been displayed at the national， largescale exhibitions of oil paintings such as the 2nd Chinese Youth Oil Paintings Exhibition hosted by National Art Museum of China， the National Oil Paintings Exhibition and the 2nd China Landscape Oil Paintings Exhibition， gaining the accreditation of and being collected by renowned galleries and museums including NAMA and Suzhou Fine Arts Museum.

2014年在北京画院油画高研班进修。

2015年油画作品《一水抱幽亭》入选最绘画——第二届中国青年油画作品展（中国美术馆）。

2015年油画作品《畅园记》入选江南如画——全国油画展（苏州美术馆）。

2015年油画作品《葡萄沟的小院》入选第四届全国（大芬）中青年油画展。

2015年油画作品《古北水镇染坊》入选“北京意象”由北京画院代为国家收藏。

2016年油画作品《作坊系列二》入选“可见之诗——第二届中国油画风景作品展”。

2017年中国梦·2017艺术草原全国中国画、油画作品《遥远的琴音》获优秀奖。作品由组委会收藏。

2017年油画作品《洞庭有归客》荣获“江南如画”颜文樑优秀奖，由苏州美术馆收藏。

2017年油画作品《时间的玫瑰六》入选保利艺术学院之星。

2018年油画作品《小院》入选中国深圳大芬首届双年展。

2018年在中央美术学院古典综合材料高研班进修。
