last summer, I went to Jinli Street with my parents. Jinli Street is located by Wu Hou Ci Museum in Chengdu and features Chinese folk art.

When we were strolling down the street, we heard the sound of drums and following the sound, I ran to a stall.

There were so many people around the stall. I squeezed into the crowd and found out that customers could blow a sugar figure by themselves.

I asked the blower to make a bull for me. He agreed. He took some syrup（糖浆）from a pot and made a hollow（空心的）sugar ball. Then he pulled one end of it to make a hollow pipe, which looked like a tadpole（蝌蚪）with a long tail. With a flick（ 弹）of his finger, the pipe was broken and an opening appeared. The blower let me blow into the pipe. Gradually, the sugar ball grew bigger and bigger.The blower molded the sugar ball with his fingers, and then the head, legs and horns of the bull appeared. Soon, after coloring it, a vivid bull was made.

Mom told me that Sugar Figure Blowing Art（吹糖人艺术）is a traditional Chinese art form. It looks very easy but there are many skills. You need to pay attention to the temperature（温度）of the syrup, and how hard to blow the pipe.

It was great to learn so many things about Sugar Figure Blowing Art. Although the sugar bull melted quickly because of the hot weather, it would remain in my heart forever!
