Zhang Yanhai， born in Dalian， coastal city of Northeast Chinas Liaoning province in 1951， graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Minzu University of China. As a well-known Chinese painter and writer， Zhang is a member of Chinese Artists Association， member of Chinese Writers Association， member and researcher of China Academy of Industrial Printmaking. He also serves as Vice Chairman of China Dalu Artists Association， and Deputy Dean of Dalu Institute of Fine Arts. As the founder， curator and one of the main organizers of Dalu Painting School， Zhang have been engaged in art creation activities since 1971， having a great impact on Chinese contemporary printmaking over the past four decades.

Since 1972， his works have been displayed at international and national large-scale fine arts exhibitions several times， receiving awards and being collected by many domestic and foreign art museums. His printmaking works have been given to friendly foreign countries as national gifts.

張衍海，著名画家、作家。1951年生于大连，祖籍山东肥城。毕业于中央民族大学美术学院。中国美术家协会会员、作家协会会员；中国工业版画研究院院务委员、研究员；中国大路美术家协会副主席、大路美术研究院常务副院长、大路版画研究院院长。1971年开始从事美术创作活动，铁道兵版画主创画家，大路画派创始人、策展人、主要组织者之一，影响和带动并在长达40多年的艺术实践中奠定了其中国当代版画主流画派的地位。作品自1972年起多次入选全国大型美展、出国展览，并多次获奖及被中国美术馆等多家国内外艺术馆院收藏。版画作品曾作为国礼赠送友好国家。出版画集、画册及个人专著多部。艺术传略被载入《世界名人录》《中国文艺家传记》《中国当代美术家词典》等大型辞书。中国美协领导和美术界元老及多位专家都曾撰文评介张衍海的版画艺术，同时也被《美术》杂志等国家权威刊物多次推介。上世纪90年代获中华全国总工会、国家科委、国家教委、劳动部、人事部颁发的“全国职工自学成才奖”和文化部颁发的“全国群星奖”。
