A person gives a plan to add some new icons3 to the emoji library. It could help those with food allergies. It could help them know what they are eating anywhere in the world.

Emojis are common6. They are chosen and developed7 by the Unicode Consortium. It is non-profit8. One day， if you want to eat some pizza when you chat with your friends， you should thank the Unicode Consortium. Because you may text a friend some six-pizza emojis. Your friends see those six-pizza emojis on their phone and will know what you want to say. This is true what phone they use.

Emojis are everywhere and iconic9. This makes them helpful for restaurants and food packaging designers10. They can show whether a product is made with common allergens11. But many of the most common food allergens are missing or not showed in the emoji library now. These common food allergens include peanuts and soy. It also includes milk.

Emoji can show what you want to say， but it is not easy for the Unicode Consortium to add some new emojis to the library. It costs much work and time. But you can look on the good side. Because of it， if you ever see a picture that shows NO， you will know to stay away.

表情符号可以表示你想要表达的是什么，但是对于统一码协会来说，增加新的符号标识是不容易的，因为它需要耗费大量的工作和时间。但是从好的一面来看，因为有了它，如果你要是看见一张显示“禁止”的图片，就应该知道要远离它。
