摘要：

通過对苗族史诗《亚鲁王》的长期关注与考察，本文从史诗文本的萎缩、史诗意义的遗失、传统传承方式的失效、东郎的职业化倾向、异地传承的创新与发展、苗文复兴与史诗传承等多个方面反映《亚鲁王》口头传统当下在苗人社会中的演述和传承活动规律，指出史诗《亚鲁王》从口头到书写的必然走向。

Abstract：

Through the long￣term attention and investigation of the epic King of Yalu of Hmong， this article has drawn from the shrinking of epic texts， the loss of epic significance， the failure of traditional inheritance methods， the tendency of Dong Langs professionalism， the innovation and development of different inheritance， and the rejuvenation of Hmong. In many aspects such as the epic tradition， it reflects the laws of the oral traditions of the King of Yalu in the present and inheritance of the activities of Hmong， and puts forward the inevitable trend of the epic King of Yalu from oral to written.

在史诗演唱传统业已式微的今天，苗族史诗《亚鲁王》仍然以鲜活的状态，不可替代的形式，反复吟唱在麻山苗人的生活中。然而各种调查报告及文章显示，麻山苗人在最近一个世纪当中所经历的被动和主动的文化变革、变迁当中，“受到现代社会经济文化冲击，史诗传承意识不断淡化，传承体系出现断层，史诗内容不断减少”[1]，引发社会各界的关注。明确史诗《亚鲁王》在当下苗人社会中的演述和传承状况如何，其背后动因和未来动态，是本文研究的基本方向。

《亚鲁王》史诗贯穿于麻山苗族的葬礼当中，文本与仪式配合紧密，形成一套完整的表演体系。在麻山苗族地方社会，《亚鲁王》的文学样式及价值从不被关注。在他们朴素的观念之中，这仅仅是指引亡灵回归故里的指路经，亡灵循着他们念出的迁徙路线，就能回到祖先们最早居住的地方。人们相信通过文本和仪式的操演，祖先能够过渡为祖先神，自己也因此得到庇佑，从中汲取精神上的力量。……
